In Mali, six months to the day, Soumaïla Cissé, the leader of the opposition to former President Ibrahim Boubakar Keïta, was kidnapped by an armed group.

What's the latest from him?

Where are the negotiations for his release?

Souleymane Koné was Ambassador of Mali in Nouakchott.

Today, he is on the M5 strategic committee and on the URD party crisis unit - Union for the Republic and Democracy - for the release of the famous hostage.

Online from Bamako and at the microphone of Christophe Boisbouvier, he launched an appeal to the ruling junta and to President Bah N'Daw, who must be sworn in on Friday, September 25.
