On September 21, garden workers set up a flowerbed with the theme of "Blessing the Motherland" at Tiananmen Square in Beijing.
The "Blessing to the Motherland" theme flowerbed features festive flower and fruit baskets as the main scenery, which contains flowers and fruits with auspicious meaning.
On September 15th, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Landscaping announced the flower arrangement plan along Tiananmen Square and Chang'an Avenue on National Day in 2020.
In the center of Tiananmen Square, a giant flower and fruit basket will be arranged to "bless the motherland", and 10 flower beds with unique themes will also be arranged from Jianguomen to Fuxingmen along Chang'an Avenue.
The flower arrangement work started in the early morning of September 16 and is expected to be completed and unveiled around September 25.
