Radwa El-Sherbiny apologizes for her statements on the veil: "Ofort in my expression"

The Egyptian media, Radwa El-Sherbiny, apologized for her controversial statements about the veil, in her first comment, after the complaints committee of the Supreme Council for Media Regulation decided to open an urgent investigation with her.

Radwa started an episode yesterday evening of her program "You and Bs", which is shown on "CBC", saying: "I made a mistake or an effort in my expression, or I want to say about the veiled women, because I met many veiled people during this period they told me they wanted We take off the veil because I don’t know we go out with our companions who are not veiled, and at that time I came and sat thankfully in the veiled, but the Shakraniya came to the brain of those who are not veiled, and they felt that they were not good, and I apologize very much if you understood this.

According to the Egyptian newspaper, Al-Watan, she said: “There is no one who will enter Heaven or Hell without the permission of our Lord, Glory be to Him, but I meant to say that the veiled woman worked on her and more than me, and whoever is not veiled, but this has nothing to do with the one who is not veiled. Good, and I will not be good, but there is a glass of veiled women and those who are not good, and this likewise applies to those who are not veiled, and our Lord is the one who governs who will enter Heaven and who will enter Hell.

And she added: "I looked at the video of the episode and found that I had forgotten and met upset people, and you have a thousand rights and your right is on my head."

El-Sherbiny had sent a message to everyone who wanted to take off the veil, and she said: "I am conscious of taking off the veil ... You are better than me and one who is not veiled 100 thousand times."

El-Sherbiny’s statements were met with a large wave of criticism, as many refused to prefer the veiled woman to the non-veiled, and described the non-veiled as “the devil,” while others considered the statements as an encouragement for harassers and a statement that would increase violence against women.
