The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare will resume the notification, which was suspended due to a defect, from the 15th regarding the "contact confirmation application" that can be notified if there is a suspicion of heavy contact with a person infected with the new coronavirus.
The "contact confirmation app" will record each other's data when the people who have the smartphones they are downloading approach each other for more than 15 minutes within 1 meter.
When a person who has been confirmed to be infected enters the processing number issued by the public health center into the app, the contact person is notified, but because a defect was found, the processing number was not issued.
The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare has announced that it will resume issuing processing numbers from the 15th, saying that it has finished fixing the defects. This means that those who have already downloaded the app will need to upload to the fix to be notified.
According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, there are approximately 6.95 million downloads by the 14th.
