The Lanying Grand Canyon is located in Wuxi County, Chongqing City, and is known as the "Chongqing's First Deep Valley". The total length of the canyon is more than 100 kilometers, the narrowest part of the valley is only more than 13 meters, the average depth is more than 1500 meters, and the deepest part is more than 2,400 meters. . On the steep cliff wall, a wall-hanging road extends like a jade belt. Opposite the highway is Chongqing's highest peak Yintiaoling, with an altitude of nearly 2,800 meters. Below the highway is the Lanying Grand Canyon, with a drop of more than 1,000 meters.
Many years ago, it was still a poor village, and the only way to get out of the village was by climbing mountains. Most of the young people in the village go out to work. The 23 old people who stayed in Zhoujiaping in Lanying Village decided to build a road out of the village. So the average age was over 50 years old. They took steel brazing and iron hammers and spent 4 years chiseling a road on the cliff wall, ending the history of climbing out of the village. After the road was repaired, 23 families walked out of the mountain much easier, and the journey to the nearby town in nearly 20 hours was shortened to 2 hours.
