The reporter learned from the Inner Mongolia Forest Fire Brigade that due to the frequent occurrence of thunderstorms recently, a forest fire broke out in the Daxinganling Khan Nature Reserve in Inner Mongolia at around 16:00 yesterday (12th). Today (13th) at around 6 a.m., 40 firefighters dispatched by the Kudur Brigade of the Inner Mongolia Forest Firefighting Corps gathered at the apron of the Sahe Forest Farm around the fire site, preparing to take the M26 helicopter to the fire site for rescue.
It is understood that the fire site is located in the virgin forest area of northern Daxing'anling, Inner Mongolia, and the vegetation is mixed needle-broad forest.
