France crossed the milestone of 30,000 deaths linked to Covid-19 on Friday, with 25 new deaths recorded in 24 hours in hospitals, announced the Directorate General of Health (DGS).

This announcement comes at a time when the public health agency France has noted a "new trend in the increase in the circulation of the SARS-CoV-2 virus" in mainland France and the authorities called on Friday for "vigilance" in the face of the risk of a second wave of the epidemic.
