There are two tests for Covid-19: the PCR test (photo) and the serological test. - Allili Mourad

It is an experimental test campaign at Covid-19 which has just started this Thursday in Saint-Brieuc (Côtes-d'Armor) and in four neighboring municipalities. Led by the Regional Health Agency, it operates on the principle of "vouchers" which will be sent by email or post during the month of July to 63,000 people.

With these "vouchers", the inhabitants of Saint-Brieuc, Langueux, Trégueux, Yffiniac and Ploufragan will be able to benefit, free of charge and without advance costs, from a virological test and a serological test even if they do not have symptoms. "This campaign is organized on a voluntary basis," said ARS Brittany in a press release.

A similar operation was already launched at the end of June in Ile-de-France as well as in the North. “This experimentation is part of a more global approach to broadening screenings and identifying asymptomatic cases. The aim is to ensure that there is no unknown circulation of the virus, ”says the ARS.
