On the first image shared by the artist with the secret identity, the drawing of a portrait of a black silhouette surrounded by flowers and candles, one of which is lit in close-up. On the second, the same drawing, seen in a larger plan, with the flag of the United States beginning to catch fire.

The drawing is accompanied by a few words from the street artist. “At first I thought I should just shut up and listen to black people about this problem. But why would I do this? It's not their problem, it's mine, ”wrote Banksy on the third part of his slideshow.

“The system has failed with people of color. The white system, ”he continues. The artist compares racism in his post to a problem of a pipe leaking into an apartment and whose occupants are not allowed to leave. "It is a problem of whites. And if the white people don't fix it, someone will have to come up and break down the door, ”he concludes.

And to call in legend of his post the white people to put an end to racism: “Yes. This is our problem. We are the ones who hold privilege and power. It's time to have this difficult conversation. "
