In June of last year, Poyang Lake, China’s largest freshwater lake, has already entered a period of abundant water, showing spectacular scenes of water and sky, and huge waves. During the middle water period, a beautiful wetland scenery was naturally formed.

On June 2, the water level of Poyang Lake was 11.99 meters, which was 4 meters lower than the historical water level of the same period last year.

Since entering the main flood season in early April, the water level of Poyang Lake has alternately fluctuated. Large areas of lakes and beaches in the lake area have sometimes emerged from the water surface and sometimes hidden in the lake water, forming a picturesque wetland scenery.

The local hydrological department analyzed that this year's Poyang Lake entered the main flood season in April, broke the 13-meter water level on April 2 and entered the flood season, reached the highest water level of 14.3 meters this year on April 11, and the water level continued to decline after April 18 Fell below 13 meters. From April 18 to the present, Poyang Lake has been continuously hovering between 10 meters and 13 meters for more than 40 days. Many lake beaches and grass islands emerged from the water surface, forming a beautiful wetland scenery naturally.
