On June 1, 1955, Soviet and Russian actress Evgenia Simonova was born in Leningrad. In her youth, she was interested in foreign languages and planned to enter the philology department, but thanks to the stories of her father, who gave lectures at the Moscow Art Theater School, she decided to try her luck at a theater university. Immediately after graduation, Simonova got into the Vladimir Mayakovsky Moscow Academic Theater, where she still serves. The movie actress was remembered primarily by the films “Afonya” and “Ordinary Miracle”, although Simonova herself loves her roles in the film “The Story of an Unknown Person” and the series “Children of the Arbat”.
