Since the start of the state of alarm, in Spain four million people have entered a record of temporary employment regulation (ERTE), although there are still citizens who have not received a single euro even though they are entitled to the benefit.

César Urrutia is a partner in El Mundo, in the Economics section, and he takes stock of how ERTEs have worked during these months and of the collapse suffered by the processing services of the Public State Employment Service (SEPE). "They are just catching up so that people receive payments, but there are quite dramatic situations in all this, people who need the money and who do not get paid, and who live up to date because they also do not have a salary that is no wonder and they do not have savings. Little by little they are being resolved. "

Carlos Cotón , a last year student of Law at the University of Alcalá, is one of those affected. He has been working on weekends for almost two years at a restaurant in the city of Complutense and his ERTE was approved on March 14 although, until last week, his name did not appear on the list. It is scheduled to start charging at the end of the month.

A few days ago, we deputy Pablo Echenique was congratulated publicly on Twitter for the approval of the minimum income and Carlos replied in the same social network.

"I saw it as a triumphant tweet, in which he boasted that they were going to approve in minimum vital income, something with which I agree and something with which I believe that no one can be against. But that a political leader, who is part of one of the government parties, express that triumphalism when there is a previous situation that has not yet been resolved , I honestly do not understand it . I tried to express that there are many people who are in the same situation as me, but with the urgent need to receive that money. "
