On the evening of May 30, Tongwei County, Dingxi City, Gansu Province suffered from hail disaster weather lasting about 30 minutes. The hail particles were dense and the maximum diameter was about 3cm, which caused large-scale crops of most farmers to be seriously affected.
According to the preliminary report of the Tongwei County Emergency Management Bureau on the hail disasters in some towns of the county, the hail disasters caused a total of more than 50,000 people in the county. The affected area of crops was 8,86.371 hectares, the affected area was 30.5851 hectares, and the agricultural losses were 25.118 million yuan.
