Research is expected to resume this Friday. A fifteen-year-old swimmer who had come to swim at Truc Vert beach with friends has been missing since Thursday afternoon at the tip of Cap-Ferret. The disappearance of the young man was reported at 5 p.m. at the Regional Operational Center of Surveillance and Rescue (CROSS) of Etel, indicates the maritime prefecture of the Atlantic.
"The CROSS immediately issued a Mayday Relay alert message and engaged a major search facility comprising the Caracal helicopter of the Air Force based in Cazaux, the Dragon 33 helicopter of civil security based in Mérignac ”, as well as a canoe and land patrols of gendarmes and firefighters.
At 10 p.m., due to lack of new information, the search facility was suspended by the Maritime Prefect of the Atlantic.
