The news of Kristina Lugn's departure in early May shook the culture of Sweden.

Therefore, on Thursday evening, Teater Brunnsgatan Fyra, where Lugn previously worked as artistic leader, will host a memorial evening in Kristina Lugn's honor.

"Missing is big"

One of the performers is the artist Tommy Körberg, who was also a friend of Kristina Lugn. They met when Lugn wrote lyrics for Benny Andersson's Orchestra and the duet Now I feel much better as Körberg and artist Helen Sjöholm sang together.

- Missing after her is big. This gentle insanity she held, I miss it tremendously, says Tommy Körberg to the Culture News.

Tommy Körberg's relationship with Lugn's poetry is quite simple:

- She was punk. In the duet Now I feel a lot better she writes "Come and go are you kind in my nice roundabout", and then I asked her: Kristina, what do you mean by the roundabout? And she said, "Don't you know? It is love, after all. I just love it.

"Remember her with happy mind"

As a prominent poet, playwright, former artistic director of Teater Brunnsgatan Fyra in Stockholm and later a member of chair number 14 in the Swedish Academy, Kristina Lugn came to leave significant traces in Swedish cultural life.

- She was one of the sharpest copywriters Sweden has. I will remember her with a happy mind, says Tommy Körberg.
