  • TF1 has accustomed fans of  Koh-Lanta to shortened episodes for several weeks because of the coronavirus.
  • Things will not work out until the final, which will itself be cut in half.

This is news that may well make furious (again) fans of Koh-Lanta . From Friday May 15, TF1 will only offer shortened programs from its adventure game. So, even if there are only two episodes left to broadcast, the channel has decided to cut them in half to keep viewers in suspense, and that even includes the finale!

For the first time in its history, the conclusion of Koh-Lanta will therefore be split in two. Friday May 29, TF1 will broadcast the orientation test during which three candidates will qualify for the rest of the program, and it is only Friday June 5 that aficionados will be able to attend the legendary pole test, as well as when the name of the winner is revealed.

"With time and patience, the mulberry leaf becomes satin" (Chinese proverb)

This cut-out of the big concluding evening of "The island of heroes" therefore allows TF1 to reveal the face of the winner as late as possible, in order to bring together all the former candidates. For the moment, we do not yet know the shooting conditions for this last show, or even if all the adventurers will be able to go to the studio the evening of the final. Anyway, fans of Koh-Lanta , who were already enraged to see shortened episodes, will have to take their patience to know the name of the last survivor of this season.
