Three years after his election, Emmanuel Macron does not have the head to blow candles in full epidemic of covid-19 and with in sight of an unprecedented economic crisis. The coronavirus will force the President of the Republic to change software.

Publicity

Emmanuel Macron had the intuition very quickly and projected himself into the post-coronavirus by promising decisions of "  rupture  ". He talked about “  reinventing yourself  ”. The question is how? Emmanuel Macron had rebounded after the crisis of yellow vests with the great debate. What option does he have today to impose himself as a unifier and avoid a fatality stated by one of his relatives: "  People always want to get rid of those who managed the crisis  ".

The call for national union fizzled out. The opposition did not play the game. And for good reason, according to a macronist from the start: "  The little French political minds who never digested the election of Emmanuel Macron  " woke up. A way of explaining that despite the epidemic, politics quickly regained its rights and everyone played their card. In particular the presidents of the large regions, Xavier Bertrand, Valérie Pécresse who, notes a deputy En Marche, "  have a power which allows them to pretend to play a role which competes with the State  ".

They are all presidential

2022 is two years away and everyone is already thinking about it, even if this is not the time for a majority parliamentarian. We have to straighten France ... the horizon is 10 or 15 years, if we shorten it for electoral reasons, we are dead ... I hope that today the president only thinks about that . He wants to believe that "  Emmanuel Macron will prefer to remain in history like the one who managed to get France out of an exceptional crisis  ", rather than playing the short term to ensure his re-election.

Managing the economic crisis is the main challenge for Emmanuel Macron

It must revive the economy and mitigate the effects of the crisis on the French. Because a member of the Finance Committee of the National Assembly warns: "  It will be painful  ". Another MP wants to believe that there is hope if the president succeeds in playing the role of “  mason  ”, after having put on the habit of “  firefighter  ”. But to build what? A new social model? An old-school parliamentarian does not believe in a "  revolution  " and says: "  There will be no next world, it will look like the world before  ".
