Recently, in the Taiyuan Twin Towers Museum in Taiyuan, Shanxi, the peony "Zixiaxian" of the Ming Dynasty quietly bloomed. In the park, the garden is full of green leaves of peonies and covered with buds. Among the green leaves, dozens of "Zixiaxian" bloom branches, leading the crowd, and many tourists come here to watch the photos.

It is understood that there are more than 6,000 peony treasures of various colors in Yongzuo Temple, a total of 9 colors, including red, white, blue, purple, yellow, green, black, pink, and complex colors. The oldest peony "Zixiaxian" was planted in the Ming Dynasty and it has been in existence for more than 400 years. In the autumn of 2019, the museum trimmed the peonies in the museum and applied nutrient solution. This year, due to sufficient light, "Zixiaxian" opened slightly earlier than in previous years, and the remaining peony flowering rate was also higher than in previous years. (Liu Yong)
