Without his action, there would have been no  Rambo . We exaggerate but his harassment on Sylvester Stallone, aka John Rambo, has led to an epic manhunt from which the sheriff's men will not return. Actor Brian Dennehy was the sheriff in Rambo , and died at the age of 81 on Wednesday, his agent said Thursday that his death was unrelated to the coronavirus.

Specialist in supporting roles and often playing bad guys, he had played alongside Robert De Niro and Al Pacino in 2008 in the crime film La Loi et l'Ordre but had also been noticed in Romeo + Juliet  or the Dynasty series , Dallas  and most recently in Blacklist . With dozens of films to his credit, Brian Dennehy was also a confirmed theater actor, who distinguished himself on Broadway and won two Tony Awards, the greatest theatrical awards in the United States.

The actor died of natural causes and died Wednesday night at his Connecticut home, his agent said in a statement sent to AFP. "Charismatic, of unlimited generosity, he was a proud and devoted father and grandfather, he will be sadly missed by his wife Jennifer, his family and his many friends", wrote his daughter Elizabeth, on Twitter actress.
