The great artist, Abdul Rahman Abu Qasim, died today at the age of 78, leaving behind a legacy of artistic works in theater, television and cinema.
The late Syrian artist, of Palestinian origin, was born in Saffuriyya, Palestine in 1942, and in 1948 he emigrated with his family to Syria.
He started his artistic career from the school theater, and then moved to a number of theatrical teams. The late presented dozens of prominent theatrical works, and left a great footprint in the march of the Arab theater.
He also presented on the TV many of the famous series, including: "Abu Firas Al-Hamdani, Desert Rage, Al-Jawareh, Al-Bawasel, Conflict on the Sands, Hajir, Khatoon, Perfume of Sham, Touqat Al-Banat, Al-Muhallab Bin Abi Safra".
Among his most prominent cinematic experiences: “The Sahail of the regions, the orchard of death, blossom of pomegranate, the parade of the fathers, the identity.”
