The parquet floor of Nantes announced this Friday the opening of an investigation after the diffusion at the end of January of a video filmed in the property of Hubert Caouissin, principal accused in the Troadec case, in Pont-de-Buis-lès -Quimerch (Finistère).

“An investigation has been opened for home invasion. It was entrusted to the judicial police, "said Nantes prosecutor Pierre Sennès to AFP. "The complaint was received at the Nantes prosecutor's office," he said, also reporting an intrusion, or attempted intrusion, into the house of Orvault, near Nantes, where the Troadec family was killed on February 16, 2017.

"Violation of the secrecy of the investigation"

In an article published this Friday by Ouest-France and revealing the existence of the video, Hubert Caouissin's lawyer, Patrick Larvor, protests this intrusion, denouncing a "home invasion", a "violation of secrecy of the instruction ”and a“ violation of the presumption of innocence ”.

“They returned to a place attached to a file still in progress and allowed themselves to assess my client and his partner. It's scandalous ! He plague.

Hubert Caouissin, former state worker in the Brest arsenal, without a criminal record, recognized in March 2017 the murders of Pascal and Brigitte Troadec, 49, and their two children, aged 21 and 18 in their house d'Orvault, against the backdrop of a war of inheritance.

He confessed to having dismembered them and then having made disappear the bodies in his property of Pont-de-Buis-lès-Quimerch, where he lived with his son and his partner Lydie Troadec. Human remains - but not skulls - were found in this vast and isolated property, allowing the four victims to be identified.

"We are inside the horror farm, everything stayed in place"

In the video, of just over half an hour and filmed at night, we see three men with open faces inspecting the interior of the house and then the exterior.

"We're inside the horror farm, everything stayed in place," said a voice. At no time is the location of the shooting or the name of the owner of the location specified.

The video was posted at the end of January on a YouTube channel with a thousand subscribers and offering other videos of interiors of abandoned houses.

Hubert Caoussin was indicted for murder and placed in pre-trial detention. His partner, Lydie Troadec, was indicted for "changing the inventory of a crime" and "concealment of corpses", and placed under judicial supervision.
