According to the forest and grassland firefighting headquarters in Muli County, Liangshan, Sichuan: On April 6, after a full day of fighting by forest firefighting and local emergency militias, the open fire on the northern line of the Muli Fire Field was completely extinguished.
According to the distribution of smoke points at the fire site, at 5 o'clock in the morning on the 6th, there were 150 people in front of the headquarters and secret service brigade, 150 people in the Aba detachment, 157 people in the Liangshan detachment, and 50 people in the training brigade. In the first line of Yaopugou, the method of combining water pumps and conventional machinery was used to clean up the open flames and smoke points on the mountain.
The weather turned cloudy, the temperature dropped, and the wind decreased, which brought favorable conditions for fire fighting. In the afternoon, all the open flames on the northern line of the Muli Fire Field were extinguished.
As of 9 o'clock in the evening on the 6th, the fire area of the Muli fire site was about 270 hectares. The three lines of the south line-east line, west line, north line-northeast line of the fire site have been controlled and entered the stage of residual smoke point treatment.
