Saga Prefecture has announced that a woman in her 30s returning to Miyaki-cho from within Tokyo had been infected with the new coronavirus. Now, six people have been infected in Saga Prefecture.

According to Saga Prefecture, the newly confirmed infection was a woman in her 30s who lived in Tokyo and returned to her grandmother's house in Miyaki-cho.

The woman had dinner with a man who was confirmed to be infected in Tokyo on the 27th of last month, and returned to Miyaki town's 80s grandmother's house the next day via Fukuoka Airport.

Later, on April 4, the woman complained of fever and sore throat, and visited a "returnee / contact outpatient clinic". As a result of the examination, she was confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.

Currently, she is hospitalized at a designated medical institution in the prefecture and has no symptoms of pneumonia.

Now, six people have been infected in Saga Prefecture.

The prefecture has decided to carry out a virus test with three of them as close contacts because three of their grandmothers, mothers and younger brothers who have met a returning home woman now have symptoms such as fever and cough.
