Kyoto Confirmed infection of three people Is it related to the outbreak of Kyoto University of Sanitation?
Kyoto Prefecture has announced that it has been newly confirmed that a total of three men and women in their 50s and 60s have been infected with the new coronavirus.
Three people were infected: men in their 60s and women in their 50s living in Ide Town, and men in their 60s living in Kizugawa City.
According to Kyoto Prefecture, the two men and women in Ide-cho are families of a party involved in an exchange meeting attended by Kyoto Sangyo University students who are experiencing outbreaks.
The number of infected people at and around Kyoto Sangyo University has risen to 70 in at least 13 prefectures.
In addition, the man in Kizugawa is a 50-year-old male contact in Ritto, Shiga, which was confirmed infected on this month.
To date, 109 people have been infected in Kyoto Prefecture, 22 of whom have already been discharged.
