A Kenyan airline pilot who had taken over the task of evacuating Kenyans from the United States last week died due to a new Corona epidemic (Covid-19).

The Ministry of Health announced the death of Captain Daoudi Kibati on Thursday, which raised the number of deaths in the country due to the virus to three.

According to Kenyan newspapers, Captain Kibati was in charge of operating to New York on March 24, and it was found that he had the disease after his return, explaining that the 61-year-old pilot entered quarantine at a hotel near Jomo Kenyatta International Airport upon landing.

The pilot's brother said that he was taken to Nairobi Hospital after being diagnosed with the virus, and he died two days later, adding: "He was confirmed with the virus on the eighth day after undergoing a strict medical examination."
