A British court sentenced Paul Leavers, who was spat on the face of police officers, to one year in prison, asserting that he was infected with Corona virus.

Liver, 48, a resident of Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, admitted to the judge that he was "guilty of assaulting police officers while carrying out the closures and curfews due to the Corona pandemic."

Lever was detained in Mansfield last Thursday and the health authorities informed the court that laboratory tests had shown he was not infected with the virus.
