On March 28, as the last group of 25-meter rails at the Sanguantang Station of the first and second phase of the Chengdu Rail Transit Line 6 project was accurately laid to the design position, the main line of the line achieved "railway access".

The first and second phase of Line 6 is the longest full underground rail transit line under construction in Chengdu at one time, and it is also the backbone line that runs through the north-south direction of Chengdu. The total length of the line is 47.4 kilometers, with a total of 141.5 kilometers, all of which are underground lines, with 38 stations. The line starts from Badu District in the north and Gaoxin South District in the south.

Tracks are laid using factory-designed steel rails that are 25 meters long. After paving a line of rails, it is what we often call short rail transit, and also refers to rail transit. Subsequently, 25 meters of steel rails need to be welded together with professional equipment for orbital welding, and finally a seamless line is formed, and long rail passage is realized.

At present, the civil construction of the first and second phases of the Chengdu Rail Transit Line 6 has entered the final stage, and the installation of electromechanical systems and the decoration of the entire line are in full swing.
