Today, the Kuwaiti Council of Ministers called on all citizens not to travel outside the country except in cases of necessity, due to the consequences of the Corona virus. According to local newspapers.

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Anas Khaled Al-Sal said: “In light of the international measures taken to confront the spread of the Corona virus, and within the framework of the government's actions in this regard, the cabinet calls on all citizens not to travel outside the country except in Cases of necessity, in order to avoid exposing them to the precautionary measures that may be imposed by states to enter or leave travelers at any time and in the interest of their safety and health.

On the other hand, Kuwait decided to suspend the fingerprint system temporarily in all government agencies, starting from Sunday.

The government’s spokesman, Tariq Al-Muzram, confirmed today that the Civil Service Bureau decided to temporarily suspend the operation of the fingerprint system in all government agencies, starting from Sunday, March 1, 2020.

Al-Mozarm added that a circular will be issued with the new temporary procedures, as part of the government's efforts to confront the emerging corona virus.

And the Ministry of Health announced, earlier today, that the number of new infections of the Corona virus (COFED-19) has risen to 43 confirmed cases, after 17 new cases were recorded.
