They finished their race 20 meters below the track against the wall of a chalet. At the end of the day on Saturday, two 16 and 17 year old skiers were seriously injured in Megève, in Haute-Savoie, in a violent accident which took place as part of a game that went wrong.

According to the Dauphiné, the two young girls, on vacation in the resort with their families, were making the track, their skis nested inside each other, to descend their last run of the day, when they lost control .

They then gained speed, could no longer stop and missed a turn and fell, finishing their race 20 meters below against a chalet located at the edge of the track.

Seriously injured to the limbs, the older of the two, located in the lead during the accident, was hospitalized in Geneva. The youngest, who appears to have had a fractured femur, was taken to Sallanches hospital.
