Mali: should we negotiate with the jihadists?

In an interview with RFI and France 24, Monday, February 10, 2020, the Malian head of state, Ibrahim Boubacar Keïta confirmed the existence of a dialogue with the main jihadist leaders in his country. This change in strategy could be a major turning point in the war waged in the Sahel for eight years which, despite French military intervention, seems hopeless.
