It's been four days now. Four days that the Dominicans gather daily in front of the seat of the Electoral Commission in Santo Domingo. Because the municipal elections were abruptly suspended, then postponed to March 15.

The reason: technical flaws in the electronic voting used in the 18 main cities of the country.

In Haiti, more than 3.7 million people are currently experiencing severe food insecurity. On the scale of humanitarian assessments, this is the last level before that of famine. In Brazil, the madness of the Rio de Janeiro carnival begins this Friday. For several days, hundreds of blocos - groups of musicians - will parade through the streets. Among these blocks, that of the Pinel Institute, a large psychiatric hospital in Rio, which for a weekend, mix patients, therapists and the public, to the rhythm of samba.
