An earthquake of magnitude 6.3 occurred in the Solomon Islands

According to seismologists, tremors were recorded at 05:02 UTC (08:02 Moscow time).

The earthquake occurred 105 kilometers northwest of the small village of Kirakira. The outbreak was located at a depth of 17.7 km.

On January 23, seismologists recorded an earthquake of magnitude 5.2 off the coast of the South Sandwich Islands archipelago in the southern Atlantic Ocean.
