HYDE, the vocalist of L'Arc-en-Ciel, a popular rock band serving as the hometown sightseeing ambassador for Wakayama, planted hydrangea seedlings in a local park in Wakayama this month.

At Kada Forest Park in Wakayama City, local tourist associations and others participate in planting hydrangea every year to protect the rich nature.

In response to a request from Mayor Masahiro Obana of Wakayama City for this activity, HYDE, a vocalist of the popular rock band "L'Arc-en-Ciel" and serving as "Hometown Tourism Ambassador" in Wakayama City, his hometown, I participated for the first time.

In the middle of this month, HYDE visited the park and carefully planted three hydrangea seedlings with Mayor Obana and a sixth grader living in the city.

HYDE said, "I am really honored to be able to plant hydrangea trees in the park where I have been playing since I was a child. I want to continue to showcase the appeal of Wakayama as a tourism ambassador."

In addition, Mayor Obana said, "I wanted you to plant just one, but today I am so glad that you have so many plants and tears."
