If the collective denounces "no plan for the renovation of substandard housing", a local public development company of national interest (Splain) was voted at the last metropolitan council of the metropolis of Aix-Marseille. This partnership will combine "the metropolis, the State through the public development agency Euromediterranean and the city of Marseille", details the deliberation voted by the metropolis.

“The plan signed with the president of the metropolis of Marseille and the mayor of Marseille gives us all of us a goal for the coming years to redevelop this city center, fight against substandard housing, revitalize the commercial vocation of this center- city.
