According to the investigators, the two officials in August last year canceled four hotels in Kyoto City that had been booked under a pseudonym through an online hotel reservation site "Ikkyu" without permission, and allegedly interfered with their business. If you make a reservation through "Ikyu", a part of the accommodation price will be returned as privilege points, but according to the investigators, points may be awarded even if you cancel without notice due to forgotten procedures at the hotel.
Police investigate the fact that parents and children have been paying attention to privilege points, repeatedly booking hotels and inns nationwide and canceling without permission 2200 times or more on the site, illegally obtaining points for about 1.9 million yen that can be used for accommodation etc. It is a policy to do.
