Levan Akin's Georgian upbringing story in a dance environment took home a total of four gold bugs on Monday night. It is Levan Akin's third feature film and it is about the young dancer Merab who falls in love with Irakli, his main competitor for a place in the dance company.
- The fun thing about this movie is that it made such a heavenly impression in Georgia despite the negative reactions, which is really a loud minority. Large parts of Georgia and the media have embraced the film, and Levan Gelbakhiani (who plays the lead role, editorial) has become a bit like a celebrity in Georgia - so this has been good for him, says Levan Akin.
