The global search engine "Google" celebrated lawyer Moufida Abdel Rahman, who is one of the first female lawyers in Egypt, as it marks the 106th anniversary of her birth.

Mofeeda Abdel Rahman is the first lawyer to file cases before the Court of Cassation in Egypt, the first woman to practice law in Cairo, Egypt, the first woman to file a lawsuit before a military court in Egypt, and the first woman to file a case before the courts in southern Egypt.

Mofeeda has participated in the work of the Personal Status Law Amendment Committee, and has contributed to the development of laws regulating family matters, including marriage, divorce, and others.

Mofeeda Abdul Rahman was born on January 19, 1914, and she died on September 3, 2002, at the age of 88.
