However, in some cases, saunas may pose a risk, as pregnant women, heart patients, diabetes patients and people with blood pressure problems should consult a physician first before going to the sauna.

According to the German News Agency, the magazine said that it is not permissible to go to the sauna in the case of acute infectious diseases such as influenza and colds, high eye pressure, kidney and liver diseases, vascular diseases such as varicose veins or vasculitis, after a stroke, and cases of epilepsy.
