In connection with a case in which a Chinese company who was aiming to enter IR and integrated resort facilities in Japan illegally brought in cash from overseas, the Tokyo District Prosecutor's Special Investigation Department was appointed by the LDP I learned through interviews with the people concerned that the members of the Diet listened arbitrarily. In this case, Akimoto's former policy secretary's home was searched as a related party, and the Special Search Department seems to have asked for an explanation of the relationship with Chinese companies.

Regarding Chinese companies that were aiming to enter IR and integrated resort facilities including casinos in Japan, there is a suspicion that Japanese affiliated persons illegally brought millions of yen into the country from abroad. The Tokyo District Prosecutors' Special Investigation Department is suspected of violating the Foreign Exchange Act and is conducting investigations by searching for related parties of Japanese corporations in Tokyo and Minato Ward.

The Special Search Department also searched the homes of two people, including former policy secretaries of the House of Representatives Akimoto of the Liberal Democratic Party as the parties involved in the incident from the 7th to the next day of this month. I learned through interviews with the people concerned.

This Chinese company is visiting Okinawa and Hokkaido with the aim of entering the IR market. Representative Akimoto gave a keynote speech with this company at an IR-related symposium held in Naha City in August. Until September, I served as the vice-minister of the Cabinet Office and was in charge of IR.

The Special Search Division seems to have requested an explanation from Mr. Akimoto about the relationship with this company.

On the 14th of this month, Representative Akimoto told NHK's interview that "I have never been involved in any fraud. I just have to keep track of the investigation because I don't know the truth."
