An open air exhibition, presented by the French-Tunisian sculptor, Idriss B, at "The Point Palm Jumeirah", which will run until March 2020, during which he presents a group of sculptures that are distinguished by the dimensions that approximate the natural size of animals. Idriss B's collection is distinguished by its ribbed shapes, as it moves away from the smooth surfaces of the design, to make it take many forms of angles. Also, these sculptures are a mixture between "origami" and "polygon", in which a number of animals, such as gorillas, bears and bulls, were embodied in addition to the bright chrome hawk, which weighs about a ton and is approximately six meters long.

Artist Idriss told Emirates Today that the preparation for the exhibition was a coincidence, since I live in Palm Jumeirah, I was walking in the place, and I found that he needed a group of art pieces, and I contacted (Nakheel), to present the exhibition and they welcomed the idea, and we started Prepare for the exhibition ». He added: «I started working on the pieces three years ago, then I was working on creating special pieces for decoration in the big international brands, and after that I started designing special sculptures, and thus the launch was, and I tried to carry all the design feelings that I want in order not to appear rigid, with The reference to the absence of circular motifs, and the presence of many angles, and this is what makes the sculptures carry a special identity.

Idris explained that he chose animals, and watched a lot of documentaries around them, because he wanted them to take certain kinematic positions, as they are not rigid. He pointed out that he does not work on more than two types of animals at the same time, because of his work on the feelings presented by the animal, and therefore he does not want to mix with each other, as feelings are the starting and starting points. And on the difficulties that pervaded the process of producing each animal, Idris stressed that all animal shapes bear the same challenges, as they are distinguished by having angles and not round shape, in addition to the presence of many sizes, there were figures of medium and large sizes, with the aim of providing suitable sculptures Places, whether people are searching for a piece of apartment or a large house, in addition to very small sizes, and this makes the difference in size 50%, explaining that the difference in sizes offers several options in the material budgets for the acquisition of work. He emphasized that a single design carries millions of possibilities in the corners, and this makes each piece unique, and identical copies of it cannot be found.

As for the colors related to sculptures, he explained that he chose to present them in a variety of colors, so that people can use them at home and stay away from their storage. The solids are made of resin and fiberglass, which are materials that give design flexibility during work, and are also unbreakable, and the materials were chosen after many studies and tests on them. Idris painted these models with car paint, after testing it in difficult conditions, and he found that he endured a high temperature. He explained that this type of material does not need to be treated and taken care of a special type, on the contrary he chose these materials because they bear high heat and high cold, and that working with this type of material allows him to present the special pieces to the public, by choosing what materials they want And colors.

Idris presented a set of figures in the Dubai International Financial Center, and aims to provide art in public places to deal with audiences from different groups, as he believes that art is selective and elitist in addressing the public.
