It is expected that the Special Criminal Court for the trial of former Sudanese President Omar Al-Bashir will issue today its ruling in the corruption case against him, after he was ousted in a military coup on April 11th.

According to Sudanese media, the court in the capital Khartoum heard the final testimonies in the case on November 16th, including the testimony of the government's auditor general.

The Sudanese security forces found, during the search of Bashir's house, after the overthrow of him, large amounts of money in the local currency and foreign currencies suspected to have come without legal permission authorizing the ousted president to obtain it.
