Shiga's "Jumping Boy" was recreated Shiga Omihachiman December 13 19:12

A sign called “Jumping Boy”, which looks like a child who calls attention to the driver. Amid a series of incidents of being stolen in Shiga Prefecture, local junior high school students recreated the “Jumping Boy” and completed it on the 13th.

In Azuchi-cho, Omihachiman City, 27 junior high school students from the local junior high school set up 27 signboards on the school road. I'm investigating.

At Azuchi Junior High School, students worked on remaking the signboard and the 13th was finished. The signboard is made of wood that is 1 meter high 30 cm wide and 70 cm wide, and has two designs based on the motifs of the local hero Nobunaga Oda and the specialty “Nobunaga Green Onion”. Students painted red, green, and yellow paint to match the character and completed six signs.

The second grader, Kazuki Hachi, said, “I was stolen last time, but this time I want to fulfill the role of road safety.” The signboard of the new “Jumping Boy” will be donated to the residents' association that was damaged and will be installed on the school road in the city.
