Researchers at the University of Georgia, America, have identified the reasons why people eat too much, according to the British "Daily Mail" website.

Where researchers found a specific circuit of processes in the brain, linked to excessive eating, and also lead to a change in pulse control.

And this circuit contains hormones that increase food intake, and this is what makes us ask for food, especially fast food, when you smell it.

In a study of mice, when this pathway was activated, the results showed that the animals lacked control of the pulse and soon attempted to access the food provided by the scientists to them.

The team says the results indicate that one day, pills can be developed to target this pathway to prevent people from overeating or wanting to eat junk food.
