High 2 male student dies Third party committee to investigate the presence of bullying Satoshi Chiba December 12, 20:56

Last December, a boy who attended a high school in Sakai City, Chiba, fell down in the courtyard of the school building and died, and the city established a third party investigation and verification committee on the suspicion of suicide. I decided to investigate in detail.

At dawn on December 5, last year, a second-year male student fell down in a high school courtyard in Sakai City, Chiba Prefecture, and the city's school board interviewed faculty members and students at the school for suspected suicide. And so on.

According to the city, the Board of Education once determined that there was no bullying or corporal punishment because it did not find a will, and reported it to the family.

However, because there was a request from the family about a survey by a third party, the city set up a survey verification committee created by lawyers and doctors to investigate in detail whether there was no bullying.
The committee will meet for the first time on the 27th of this month to decide on a policy for future investigations.

Sakai City commented, “I want to verify the cause of the student's death, to clarify the truth and to prevent recurrence.”
