Stellan Skarsgård Golden Globe nominee: "Extremely fun"

The TV series, directed by Swedish Johan Renck, is also nominated in the category of best TV series.

Again, Ricky Gervais is leading the Golden Globe Gala. This will be the fifth time the British comedian has been piloting the audience through the awards ceremony - and the last, if one is to believe him himself.

The 2020 Golden Globe Gala will be held on January 5. The distribution of prices there is usually seen as a clue as to what the latter might look like at the Oscars.

- It's extremely fun, says Stellan Skarsgård when TT reaches him by phone with the message that he has been nominated for a Golden Globe for his role in "Chernobyl".

Last year, his son Alexander Skarsgård received a Golden Globe for his contribution in the TV series "Big little lies".

- It's fun to get a little in touch with Alex, says Stellan Skarsgård.

TT: Do you never blabber on nominations and awards?

- No, not when it is about something so good and valuable, who really wants to tell us something. Then it feels extra fun to be drawn to it, says Stellan Skarsgård who will be going to the US to attend the gala.
