B-1 Grand Prix held in Hyogo Akashi 55 nationwide participants 13:50 on November 23rd

The “B-1 Grand Prix”, where you can taste local gourmets from all over the country, has been held in Akashi City, Hyogo Prefecture since 23rd.

The event is held to promote local attractions through local gourmet food. Kotoshi has 55 groups from all over the country and introduces the local tastes at nine venues in Akashi City.

Among them, Minami Uonuma Kirizai DE Ai Corps in Minamiuonuma City, Niigata Prefecture, served a bowl using local cuisine “Kirizai” with finely chopped pickled vegetables such as Nozawana and Takuan and natto.

In addition, from Kakogawa City, Hyogo Prefecture, the “Delicious! Kakogawa Katmeshi no Kai” served “Katsumeshi” with beef cutlet on top of rice and demiglace sauce.

There were long queues waiting for food at every booth at the venue, and visitors enjoyed gourmet food from all over the country.

A 26-year-old man from Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture, said, “I can learn about local cuisine that I can't taste in the prefecture, and I will study.”

This event will be held until the 24th, and the Grand Prix will be decided by voting with disposable chopsticks by visitors.
