INTERVIEW

Clémentine Célarié has never hidden her political commitments. In 2012, she appeared alongside François Hollande when the politician was running for the presidency of the Republic. At Anne Roumanoff's Wednesday, Europe 1, the actress spoke about the single-class TV movie, in which she plays and will be broadcast on November 23 on France 3. The story of a village that has to deal with the desertification of its administered. As a result, the school must close. Only solution to maintain open establishment? Welcome refugees.

"The movie is great because it does not give lessons"

"In the TV movie, I play Lucie, and my character hides two undocumented," says Clémentine Célarié. The actress believes that it is important to make such a film today, especially because of its political message. "This is a hot topic, it happens a lot," she says, "and integration works well."

The fiction tells a "give and take" exchange, since the village can keep its school open and the refugees see their integration facilitated. "Right now, all we have to do is go to others," says Clementine Célarié. "The film is great because it does not give lessons," adds the actress, "it's not Manichean."
