The National Archives provided the Emirates Library with newly released books, resources and references that were celebrated by the recently concluded 38th Sharjah International Book Fair.
The National Archives has added more than 3,000 books to the Emirates Library on topics related to its specialties, objectives and functions.
The books obtained by the Emirates Library varied from Sharjah Book, some of which dealt with the biography of the late founding leader Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, and some documented the news of tribes and clans, and some were interested in biographies and memos, and the Emirates Library gave encyclopedias, dictionaries and travel literature Great interest. Among the most prominent books provided by the Emirates Library, which documents aspects of Sheikh Zayed's biography, national principles and feats: «Zayed miracle maker in the UAE», «Zayed develops palm planting in the UAE», and «words of leader Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan», And «the files of the commander», and others.
In the National Archives, the Emirates Library is keen to provide its pioneers with a number of important dictionaries, encyclopedias and documentary books.
Among the dictionaries and encyclopedias that have joined the archive library are: Bahrain Archives in the original British documents 1820-1971 in six volumes, a glossary of archive terminology, the history of clothing in the world, an expanded glossary of citations, an encyclopedia of sociology terminology, a hyamos triangular glossary, a tongue of the bride, and flags The women of Mecca, the Orientalist Encyclopedia, the Nobel Scholars Encyclopedia, the terms of the Arabic manuscript book, the glossary of the crown of the bride's crown, the thesaurus of intangible cultural heritage in three volumes, and the scholars of Najd in eight centuries in six volumes. The National Archives also enriched the UAE Library with a large number of publications, which were presented by the participants in the exhibition and donated by publishing houses to the National Archives Library.
