After noon on the 14th, in Higashihiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture, a fire broke out from the warehouse of a plastic recycling company and spread to the forest, and firefighting continues to extinguish. According to the police, there is no information about injured people so far.

At around 0:30 pm on the 14th, an employee of “Yeongxing Industry”, which is recycling plastics in Fukutomi-cho, Higashihiroshima, reported to the fire department that the warehouse was burning.

More than 10 fire trucks and helicopters have been dispatched for fire extinguishing activities, but the fire has spread to the surrounding forests, and black smoke is still rising for more than 3 hours.

According to the police and the fire department, the company had seven employees at the time of the fire, but no information on the injured person has been entered so far.

The site is a mountainous area about 10km north from the center of Higashihiroshima City, and is surrounded by houses.

According to the Hiroshima Regional Meteorological Observatory, Higashihiroshima City had announced a warning of dryness and strong winds after 10 am on the 14th, and the weather station called for attention to the handling of fire.
