An event to enjoy light-up using renewable energy such as sunlight and wind power has started in Ueno Park in Tokyo.
This event is held annually by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry to encourage many people to think about renewable energy.
A ceremony was held at the venue in Ueno Park, and the entire venue was illuminated after 5:30 pm.
The power of the lighting was covered by renewable energy such as sunlight and wind power, and it was wrapped in a fantastic atmosphere with light such as red, green and purple around the fountain square.
Ms. Ishii and others, who were active as leading Japanese lighting designers and were chosen as culturally distinguished people, designed this light-up.
Mr. Ishii said, “It is possible to create bright and beautiful light even with a small capacity.
